Psalm 15

Psalm 15 A psalm of David.

LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill?

2

He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart

3

and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman,

4

who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts,

5

who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.

Psalm 112

Psalm 112 ^[1]

1

Praise the LORD. ^[2] Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands.

2

His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

3

Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.

4

Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man. ^[3]

5

Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice.

6

Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever.

7

He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.

8

His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.

9

He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn ^[4] will be lifted high in honor.

10

The wicked man will see and be vexed, he will gnash his teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

Today's bible teaching: Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, him will I not endure.

Psalm 101

I will sing of your love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will sing praise.

2

I will be careful to lead a blameless life-- when will you come to me? I will walk in my house with blameless heart.

3

I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me.

4

Men of perverse heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil.

5

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

Every morning I will put to silence all the wicked in the land; I will cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.

to the One who remembered us in our low estate His love endures forever.

and who gives food to every creature. His love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.

Today's bible teaching: When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

2

From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise ^[2] because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

3

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

4

what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

5

You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings ^[3] and crowned him with glory and honor.

6

You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:

7

all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field,

8

the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

9

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Psalm 3

O LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!

Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." Selah ^[1]

But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift ^[2] up my head.

To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah

5

I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.

6

I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side.

7

Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.

From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah

Psalm 4

Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.

2

How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame ^[1] ? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods ^[2] ? Selah

3

Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him.

4

In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Selah

5

Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD.

6

Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.

7

You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.

8

I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
