Wike preaches family values at the memorial services of the Ezenwa's

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette on Sunday joined hundreds of worshippers  for a Memorial Mass in honour of  the 13th Anniversary of Late HRH Eze (Barr) Bernard Nzenwa and 1st Anniversary of Ugozue Bernadette Nzenwa on Sunday at the Holy Ghost Parish,  Mbaise.

Also in attendance  were Dr Peter Odili,  his wife,  Justice Mary Odili ( daughter of HRH Eze Nzenwa  and Ugozue Nzenwa), elder statesmen  from Rivers and Imo State,  Justices and senior lawyers. 

The Holy Mass organised by  the  Nzenwa family  was aimed at celebrating the contribuMtions  of Late HRH   ( Barr ) Bernard Nzenwa and his wife Late Ugoeze Bernadette Nzenwa to community  development  and Humanity.

In his homily, Rev Fr. Joe Madu urged children to always honour their parents while they are alive and in death.

In his remarks, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike described the in-laws of former Governor of the state,  Dr Peter Odili, late  Eze Bernard Nzenwa and Ugoeze Bernadette  Nwatuma Nzenwa as people who  accommodated  all who came their way.

He noted  that the accommodating lifestyle of the Nzenwas attracted eminent personalities to their memorial service .

Governor Wike urged the family to continue to keep the legacies bequeathed by their late parents.

Also speaking, the Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike   called for strong family values to enthrone a united  nation.

Justice Nyesom-Wike called on parents to always raise their children in the rightful way in order for their children to cater for them in their old age

In her speech, Justice Mary Odili thanked friends and well wishers for  joining them at the memorial service .
